Literary Megabytes (Buqve) with Tea Hvala

on Thursday, 23 December 2010, at 20:00 at Club Tiffany.

This year’s last Literary Megabytes will look into the Slovene translation of the novel Valencia by the American writer, Michelle Tea (ŠKUC Lambda, 2010). We will be talking to Tea Hvala about the author, the book and its translation challenges.

Tea Hvala translates prose and essays from English. Valencia is her first extensive work of prose translation.

The event will be hosted by Špela Bibič.

The project is part of the Ljubljana – World Book Capital 2010 programme.
The project was co-financed by the City of Ljubljana.
