Photo project Genderfuck reveals the fragments of social life as it was experienced at the Genderfuck parties that took place in Cultural Centre Q (consisting of lesbian club Monokel and gay club Tiffany) in Ljubljana in August 2009. Visitors were invited to look at their gender role(s) as social concept(s) and redefine them. In the process, they became the creative force that constructed both symbolic and concrete “spaces without norms”.

Genderfuck is a public project that is documentary because it shows the dynamics of life of a social group in a manifestly creative public space and a conceptual product where gender-roles are subverted with the assistance of photographic narrative.
